The site consists of a personal blog as well as an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aspiringeconomist.com\/pmwiki\/pmwiki.php\">Econ Wiki<\/a>.  After being  an avid reader of economics blogs for over a year, I decided to start my own.  Ben Casnocha captures my motivation to blog when he <a href=\"http:\/\/ben.casnocha.com\/2007\/09\/the-do-you-blog.html\" target=\"_blank\">writes<\/a>,<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"inserted\"><em>&#8220;When someone maintains a blog, it usually means their mind is cranking so quickly that they need one more outlet through which to channel that energy and express their thoughts.&#8221;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Most popular economics blogs on the net are the work of famous economists.
